HELL YEAH OR HELL NO? | CREATIVE KNOWLEDGE BROKER NINJA TIP
This is one of my pro tips to help promote productivity and to remove things that are put on you day today that don’t have your name on it.
So, I don’t know if you’re anything like me, but I get asked for things all day long and I must, unfortunately, be really, really strict about the things I take on, otherwise I’ll get nothing done.
So, I follow this rule, and it’s a good little tip, of saying something that’s Hell Yeah, is anything I, 80% want to do, and Hell No is anything that’s below 60%.
So, you know when something is a Hell Yeah, when someone asked you to do something, and it really gets you juiced up and you’re really interested in it and want to do it. On the flip side, if somebody comes up with something that they’ve asked you to do, that maybe wasn’t your job in the 1st place, and you know it’s not going to be an easy task., or you’ve said, I’ll help with that, but it gets put on your To Do List and never gets done, That’s a Hell No.
So, I think we all need to get into the habit of not sticking our hands up and trying to put our name to everything, because you know we don’t need that. We don’t need that stress in life, and it’s not going to help us reduce it.
Focus on the tasks that serve us, so we can serve others better, so, this is the Hell yeah or Hell No.
Practise ‘Hell Yeah or Hell No?’ yourself.
Remember if there is something that you 80% want to do it and know htat it is going to serve us and serve others better, it’s a ‘Hell Yeah’ and if theres something you only 60% want to do and you shouldn’t really be doing it in the first place, it’s a ‘Hell No’
